- How many square feet does a WittyGlo cover? The WittyGlo Classic covers 400 sq. ft. of indoor living/workspace while the WittyGlo Pro covers 600 sq. ft. of indoor living/working space.
- How often do I need to change out my glue board? We recommend changing out the glue board on each WittyGlo every 4 weeks or as needed depending on the season and insect traffic within your space. During peak insect seasons or if you have a serious issue with insects then you may want to change out the glue board more frequently.
- Do you use LED bulbs and are they dimmable? Yes, we use LED bulbs in our WittyGlo design. While they cannot be technically dimmed, we do offer a feature on each unit allowing the customer to control which setting they desire from full power, half power, insect trapping light only.
- Do I have to hang the WittyGlo on a wall? We strive to make all our products versatile and beautiful no matter where they are located. We want you to have the flexibility to place your WittyGlo wherever you see it to best accentuate your space. You will find two wall mount options on each unit: the cleat and keyhole designs. The WittyGlo Classic can be freestanding décor/signage for your desk, countertop, or shelf, while the WittyGlo Pro is recommended for wall mount or window hanging. Some customers even choose to use a metal picture frame holder to create a different aesthetical design. WittyGlo is designed to be a part of your home or office décor and signage so be creative with how and where you use your WittyGlo.
- Where is the optimal location for the WittyGlo to be located for insect trapping purposes? Our research has shown placing the WittyGlo in or in close proximity to windows provides the best insect trapping results. Beta testing has also shown insects typically favor one window over others so be observant for this in your venue. The WittyGlo Classic can be set in window seals when needed and then easily relocated for decorating purposes. Ultimately remember, WittyGlo is a part of your home/office décor and signage so you can place it where you want.
- What all insects will a WittyGlo trap? You will find our products have been engineered to Always Beautifully Remove Insects or as we like to say around the office; A’BRI. While our target insects are fruit flies and mosquitoes, our testing has shown results of trapping numerous species of gnats, the house fly, wasp, moths, spiders, lady bugs and roaches.
- Do I have to leave the WittyGlo on all the time? Yes, for best results. One of the beautiful things about WittyGlo is that it gives you a variety of uses and settings to help you achieve a desired outcome. Our recommendation is finding the setting that best fits your overall needs and then enjoy the beauty with which WittyGlo brings.
- What is the recommended setting? WittyGlo Classic and Pro have three basic setting options, full power, half power, or insect trapping light only. For best results, it is recommended to leave the WittyGlo insect trapping light on at all times.
- Do you offer any additional sources to help trap insects? We have developed a proprietary food grade insect food source which can be used within the insect food tray in the WittyGlo, or you can use your own food source and place it in the removable food source tray located in the bottom of each unit. The insect food source tray is removable and dishwasher safe in the top rack. Simply wash it out and refill. If extreme insect conditions persist, we recommend discretely placing our glue boards directly in window seals or near door openings, where possible, for added insect management. Adding a small amount of our WittyGlo insect food to the center of the glue board will also aid in insect trapping results.
- Does the WittyGlo Insect Food contain harmful chemicals? No, our insect food is organic and only contains food grade ingredients.
- If I purchase the WittyGlo Insect Food, how often do I need to replace it? We recommend replacing the insect food every two weeks. This will vary dependent upon your geographical location and environment. If you are having extreme fly issues, you will need to add fresh insect food weekly. For example, a high traffic food handling facility will need to replace the insect food more often than a residence during winter months.

- Can I take my unit outside? WittyGlo is not weather proof.
- Can I print my own images to use in the WittyGlo Classic? Yes, this is one of the beautiful aspects of the WittyGlo’s design. We recommend using our website for your images as image quality will vary when printing your own images, but you can use any 8.5x11 sized image for the WittyGlo Classic. Note for best results, duplicate images may be required as Latex printers are needed for single images. Your unit will come with our standard image inside it ready for use. Installation is quick and easy. By releasing the side door, you can slide the acrylic front plate out and remove the old image and replace with your new custom image. Slide acrylic back into place, replace the side door, and turn your WittyGlo back on for unlimited use.
- When does my WittyGlo pre-order ship? Our estimated ship date for pre-orders is late Fall 2022.
